Jo Chopra McGowan is a writer who has been working in disability for the past 30 years. Born in the US, she has lived in India since 1981. She is co-founder and Director of the Latika Roy Foundation in Dehradun. LRF is a non-profit which provides services to disabled children, adults, and their families as well as advocacy and awareness in the community.
