Who We Are?

Collaborative Venture

The Indo-Canadian Autism Network (I-CAN) is a collaborative venture between Canadian autism experts, and leaders in ASD services and research in India, that is born out of joint efforts since 2010. I-CAN was founded in July 2019, in Hyderabad, India, by a delegation of clinicians and researchers representing more than a dozen leading Indian ASD centers, and 5 Canadian leaders in ASD services and research.

What We Do?

Priority Areas for I-CAN

The following  priorities that have been defined since I-CAN was established

  • Capacity Building in Assessment, Intervention and Research areas in ASD
  • Evidence-based parent-mediated early  intervention.
  • Family support and parent behavior management training.
  • Complex presentations, comorbidities, and older youth and adults.

The I- CAN Hub is a central platform bringing the Indian Partners together and consulting with the I-CAN Network in Canada for expertise
